Video interview: Oscar Louro Garcia of Telefonica

We are in an inflection point, observes Oscar Louro Garcia, Network APIs Director at Telefonica, as he discusses the mobile API ecosystem and where the market is now, at the Aduna Summit in Madrid. Oscar says that we are about to reach the point of global scale. There is strong demand, with a lot of operators joining and a lot of customers showing interest. He comments that Aduna is playing a great role in this ecosystem; to put all this in place and make sure we have the right set up to make things simpler for customers.

Oscar highlights the huge potential and the increasing demand from customers for greater coverage and more APIs while conceding the challenges of fragmentation, where not all the CSPs are on the same page and differing levels of maturity. He discusses Aduna's pivotal role in the ecosystem, putting in place the right setup and bringing together operators, developers and ecosystem partners to accelerate progress, make APIs simpler for developers to consume and unlock new opportunities.
